In Study options

We don’t want any limits to learning. That’s why we like to be flexible to fit in with the busiest of lifestyles. Many courses can be studied part-time. This may work for you if you are fitting a course or professional qualification around a career, family or other commitments.

What courses can be studied part-time?

We offer a full range of professional and vocational courses from arts to business and computing to health.

The benefits to part-time

  • Lives are often very busy – this way you can gain a qualification whilst fitting around your other commitments.

  • Stay in work whilst enhancing your career prospects with a professional qualification.

  • Follow an interest or passion in more depth.

What is the time commitment?

The duration of the course depends on the speed at which you wish to progress through it - the course intensity. The usual study pattern is to complete modules totalling 60 credits in your first year of study. This would be equivalent to studying at 50 per cent course intensity. At this intensity, a part time honours degree would usually take six years. You’ll pay the pro rata (equivalent) fee for the course each year.
