Is your life in the fast lane? Are you hungry for success? If you want to get there quicker than the rest and save money, then why not consider a two-year accelerated degree.
With an accelerated degree you'll benefit from our University experience, quality facilities and industry connections. But, unlike a traditional three-year degree, you'll graduate in two years with the same degree. You can be in work or further study quicker and save money on fees.
Benefits of an accelerated degree
Save over £10,000 on your tuition fees and living costs.
Gain the same degree qualification sooner; you'll just work harder for it.
Employers value the drive and focus to achieve an accelerated degree.
You can complete an accelerated degree and a master’s degree in just three years.
You'll learn on campus with other students during the University year. In summer, you'll need to remain motivated to do some additional work. This will mostly involve working from home through our flexible learning and support programme.
With this flexible option, you can also take a placement. This would be done before your final summer teaching semester.
Change of plan
It’s possible to transfer from a two-year accelerated degree to a three-year degree. If you fail a module in the first year (which requires a resit) you'll transfer to the three-year route. This is to ensure you can focus on passing the resit and get the best degree classification possible.
You’ll get support from a tutor throughout your degree. Plus, you'll have full access to our library and IT facilities.
How do I apply?
You’ll need to apply through UCAS. This will be followed up with an informal chat (face-to-face, telephone or video call) to discuss your suitability for the degree.
Fees and finance
You can use a normal tuition fee loan to cover our two-year accelerated degrees.
A quick money saving guide
Accelerated degrees are cheaper. Not only is there a lower tuition fee, your living costs are only for two years as well. You could save over £10,000 on the cost of your studies.
